Although Mark Guthrie started using his voice back in high school to satisfy audiences as the singer in a band, college radio was the first DJ bug to bite him back in 1986.

After two years on the air, he was on to entertaining locally at dance clubs in the Springfield area, playing to a variety of tastes and keeping the floor moving.

By 1989 Mark moved to weddings and they fit like a glove. Since then they have been his specialty and Mark continues to be one of Hard At Play’s most requested DJ/MCs.

With a love for all music, contagious enthusiasm, and random knowledge on any subject, Mark know-how takes that cautious bride and groom from their first meeting straight through to their last dance effortlessly and fun.
